Duties and Responsibilities
- Credit Risk Support
- Assist in monitoring retail and wholesale loan portfolio performance.
- Analyse delinquency trends and portfolio movements.
- Support monitoring of portfolio concentration by geography, product, dealer, and customer segment.
- Assist in maintaining risk dashboards.
- Portfolio Analytics
- Prepare reports on: Portfolio growth, Vintage analysis, Roll Rate analysis, Collection performance, Recovery trends
- Validate portfolio data received from Business and Operations.
- Early Warning Signal (EWS)
- Assist in monitoring Early Warning Indicators.
- Track trigger breaches.
- Coordinate with Business, Credit, Collections, and Operations teams for required data.
- Enterprise Risk Support
- Maintain Enterprise Risk Register.
- Assist in enterprise-wide risk assessment exercises.
- Record identified risks and mitigation plans.
- Operational Risk
- Assist in maintaining: Incident Register, Loss Event Database, Key Risk Indicators (KRIs)
- Risk & Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) documentation
- Track closure of operational risk action items.
- Regulatory & Governance Support
- Assist in preparation of presentations for: Board Risk Committee , Management Risk Committee, Internal Management Reviews
- Maintain repository of approved policies and risk documents.
- Policy & Documentation
- Support preparation and periodic review of: Risk Management Policy, Risk Appetite Framework, SOPs, Risk Manuals
- Reporting
- Prepare periodic reports including: Daily Portfolio Report, Weekly Risk Dashboard, Monthly Risk MIS, Delinquency Report, Collection Trend Analysis, Portfolio Quality Report
Knowledge and Skills
- In-depth understanding of dealer financing, wholesale credit structures, and auto market risks
- Expertise in credit risk, operational risk, enterprise risk, and regulatory compliance
- Strong grasp of RBI’s NBFC regulatory environment including fair practices, capital adequacy, and risk-based supervision
- Strategic thinking, board-level communication, and leadership presence
- Familiarity with risk modeling, early warning systems, and technology-based risk tools
Education and Experience
- MBA/PGDM in Finance or Economics , or related fields from a reputed institute
- Automotive Captive Finance or OEM Leadership Sales Experience (Captive finance experience preferred)
- 4+ years’ experience in Leadership roles in NBFC, captive finance, or wholesale banking,
- Prior experience in the risk framework in a NBFC is a strong advantage.
