Role Description The Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations at the Misthan by Shree Gupta Sweets outlet in Salem. This full-time, on-site role includes managing staff schedules, supervising service quality, and ensuring that food and beverage standards are consistently met. The Manager will handle customer interactions, resolve issues, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. Key tasks include monitoring inventory, coordinating with kitchen and service teams, enforcing hygiene and safety standards, and supporting hiring and training efforts. The role also involves tracking sales, implementing promotional activities, and reporting on performance to leadership.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills, with a focus on creating positive guest experiences.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to coordinate with staff, customers, and management.
- Candidates should possess Hiring and team supervision skills to build, train, and motivate frontline and back-of-house staff.
- Candidates should possess Food & Beverage knowledge, including basic understanding of menu items, quality standards, and hygiene practices.
- Prior experience in restaurant, café, or retail food operations is strongly preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as operationally required.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management abilities.
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is an advantage but not mandatory.
