Role Description The Reporter role at Antara Senior Care is a full-time, on-site position based in New Delhi. The Reporter will research, gather, and verify information related to Antara’s communities, assisted care services, and broader senior care trends, producing timely, accurate, and engaging stories. Daily responsibilities include conducting interviews with residents, families, and team members; attending events and activities; and developing news features, profiles, and human-interest stories that reflect Antara’s mission and impact. The Reporter will collaborate with communications and marketing teams to create content for digital platforms, internal publications, and external media, using text, photos, and basic multimedia elements where needed. The role also involves maintaining editorial standards, adhering to ethical reporting practices, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment focused on senior care communications.
Qualifications
- Strong reporting skills, including information gathering, verification, interviewing, and story development.
- Excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to convey complex topics clearly and sensitively.
- Proficiency in news writing, including breaking news, features, and human-interest stories tailored to diverse audiences.
- Basic multimedia capabilities, such as taking photographs, recording audio or video, and coordinating with design or production teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or a related field.
- Prior experience in reporting, preferably in health, lifestyle, or community-focused journalism.
- Ability to work on-site, manage multiple assignments, and meet tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and integrity.
- Sensitivity to senior care issues, strong ethical judgment, and a respectful, inclusive approach to all individuals.
