About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and client-focused Relationship Manager – Mutual Funds to join our team in Kolkata. In this role, you will act as a trusted financial advisor, helping clients achieve their financial goals through strategic mutual fund investments. The ideal candidate has a passion for wealth management, a proven track record in financial sales, and the ability to simplify complex investment concepts for a diverse client base.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Acquisition & Management: Proactively identify, onboard, and manage a portfolio of retail and High Net-Worth (HNI) mutual fund investors.
- Financial Advisory: Assess clients' financial goals, risk appetite, and investment horizons to recommend tailored mutual fund solutions and asset allocation strategies.
- Revenue Generation: Drive consistent business growth by meeting targets for Systematic Investment Plans (SIPs) and lump-sum mutual fund mobilizations.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate deep, long-term relationships with clients through regular portfolio reviews, market updates, and exceptional customer service.
- Market Awareness: Stay updated on macroeconomic trends, mutual fund performance, and regulatory changes to provide accurate and timely advice.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year of proven experience in mutual fund sales, wealth management, or financial advisory.
- Certifications: NISM (National Institute of Securities Markets) Mutual Fund Distributors Certification (Series V-A) is highly preferred.
- Sales Acumen: Strong business development skills with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively articulate investment strategies and build client trust.
- Analytical Mindset: Good understanding of financial markets, mutual fund schemes, and portfolio management fundamentals.
