Role Description The Wealth Manager role at THE FEDERAL BANK LIMITED is a full-time, on-site position based in the Kolkata metropolitan area. The Wealth Manager will manage and grow a portfolio of affluent clients by understanding their financial goals and providing tailored financial planning, investment, and insurance solutions. Daily responsibilities include conducting client meetings, analyzing financial profiles, recommending appropriate investment products, and monitoring portfolio performance to ensure alignment with clients’ risk tolerance and objectives. The role also involves cross-selling relevant banking products, coordinating with internal teams for seamless service delivery, ensuring adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements, and maintaining detailed documentation of client interactions and advisory recommendations. The Wealth Manager is expected to build long-term, trust-based relationships and contribute to the bank’s overall business growth in the wealth management segment.
Qualifications
- Strong financial planning skills, including goal-based planning, asset allocation, and retirement or estate planning.
- Investment management and investments expertise, with the ability to evaluate products such as mutual funds, bonds, equities, and structured solutions.
- Solid understanding of finance principles, including risk management, taxation basics related to investments, and portfolio construction.
- Knowledge of insurance solutions (life, health, and other protection products) and their role in holistic wealth management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CFP, CFA, NISM) are an advantage.
- Proven experience in wealth management, private banking, or financial advisory, preferably with affluent or NRI clients.
- Excellent communication, relationship management, and client-servicing skills, with the ability to present complex financial concepts clearly.
- Strong analytical and numerical abilities, proficiency with financial planning tools and MS Office, and familiarity with digital banking platforms.
