Role Description The Relationship Manager – Insurance, Loans & Investments is a full-time, on-site role based in Chandigarh, India. The role involves managing and growing client relationships by understanding financial needs and recommending suitable insurance products, loan options, and investment solutions. The Relationship Manager will conduct regular client meetings, prepare and explain financial proposals, assist with documentation and application processes, and ensure timely follow-up and resolution of client queries. Responsibilities also include coordinating with internal teams and external partners, maintaining accurate records in CRM or similar tools, tracking portfolio performance, and contributing to business development activities and client retention initiatives.
Qualifications
- Strong client relationship management skills, including active listening, empathy, and the ability to build long-term trust.
- Knowledge of insurance products, loan structures, and basic investment concepts, with the ability to explain options clearly to clients.
- Competence in financial documentation, regulatory awareness (e.g., compliance processes), and attention to detail in reviewing applications.
- Effective communication and presentation skills in English and local languages, with professional email and phone etiquette.
- Basic proficiency with digital tools such as CRM systems, spreadsheets, and online financial platforms.
- Ability to work on-site, manage multiple clients and tasks, and meet targets and timelines in a dynamic environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, commerce, or a related field; relevant certifications in insurance, loans, or investments are an advantage.
- Prior experience in banking, financial services, or consulting is preferred but not mandatory for highly motivated candidates.
