Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Credit Analyst (CA Fresher) role based in Chandigarh, India. The Credit Analyst will assess SME creditworthiness by reviewing financial statements, cash flows, and business performance, and by conducting ratio and trend analysis. The role includes preparing credit appraisal reports, documenting findings, and recommending appropriate credit limits and structures in line with internal policies. The analyst will liaise with internal teams and SME clients to collect required information, clarify queries, and ensure accurate and timely processing of credit applications. The position also involves monitoring existing credit exposures, tracking portfolio performance, and supporting risk management initiatives to maintain healthy asset quality.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Credit Management and Credit assessment skills, with an interest in SME lending.
- Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, perform ratio analysis, and evaluate business risk.
- Candidates should possess solid Finance knowledge, including understanding of balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for interacting with clients and collaborating with internal stakeholders.
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification, preferably recently qualified or fresher, with good academic standing.
- Detail-oriented approach, strong ethical standards, and ability to follow credit policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and basic financial modeling tools; familiarity with lending or NBFC environment is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Chandigarh and manage multiple cases within tight timelines.
