Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Regional Manager – Loan Sanctioning based in the Mumbai . The Regional Manager will oversee loan sanctioning operations within the assigned western region.
Job Description :
- Act as the liaison between field loan sanctioning teams and Head Office.
- Review, recommend, and approve loans as per policy guidelines.
- Conduct area reviews, field visits, cross-checks, and risk assessments.
- Monitor high-risk business units and prepare corrective action plans.
- Track market trends and recommend industry best practices.
- Coordinate with Business and Collection teams for timely issue resolution
- Escalate critical field issues and ensure prompt action.
- Ensure compliance with training, audit, and bank policy requirements.
- Lead credit administration through staff mentoring, monitoring, and performance management.
- Support sanctioning units with administrative, infrastructural, and manpower planning activities.
- Monitor and consolidate operational data and MIS from the field.
Skill Set Required:
- Graduate / Postgraduate in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline
- 8–10 years of experience in Credit Underwriting in Micro Finance.
- Prior exposure of NBFC, or financial services.
- Excellent coordination and stakeholder management skills.
