Role Description The Regional Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Gujarat, India. The Regional Manager will oversee sales and distribution operations across the region, ensuring achievement of business targets and growth in key markets. This role involves leading and mentoring branch teams and supporting agency, and driving customer acquisition and retention initiatives. The Regional Manager will monitor performance metrics, analyze regional business trends, and implement strategies aligned with company objectives. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal standards, optimizing processes for efficiency, and representing the organization in regional business forums and partner meetings.
Qualifications
- Strong regional sales and business development skills, including target planning, pipeline management, and market expansion.
- Leadership and people management capabilities, with experience in team supervision, coaching, and performance management.
- Customer relationship management skills, with the ability to build trust, handle escalations, and drive customer-centric initiatives.
- Operational and process management skills, including proficiency in reporting, data analysis, and adherence to regulatory and company policies.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
- Proficiency in using digital tools and insurance-related platforms; comfort with technology-enabled workflows.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification in management is an advantage.
- Prior experience in life insurance or financial services, preferably in a regional or multi-branch managerial role.
