Role Description The Radiographic Testing Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Bellary. This role involves planning and coordinating radiographic testing activities, including scheduling inspections, allocating resources, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The coordinator will oversee the setup and operation of radiographic testing equipment, review test results, and prepare clear, accurate reports for internal teams and clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include ensuring that procedures follow relevant codes and standards, supporting quality assurance processes, and collaborating with technicians, engineers, and client representatives to resolve technical issues. The role also includes maintaining documentation, monitoring equipment calibration and maintenance, and contributing to continuous improvement of testing methods and workflows.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of Non-Destructive Testing principles, with specific experience in radiographic testing and related procedures.
- Knowledge of applicable safety regulations, radiation protection standards, and industry codes relevant to radiography.
- Ability to coordinate testing schedules, manage resources, and oversee on-site operations in an industrial environment.
- Proficiency in interpreting radiographic images, documenting findings, and preparing clear technical reports.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to maintain accurate records, logs, and equipment documentation.
- Effective communication skills to work collaboratively with technicians, engineers, and client stakeholders.
- Experience in quality control or quality assurance within NDT or related fields is beneficial.
- Certification or training in Radiographic Testing or NDT (e.g., Level II or equivalent) is preferred.
- Relevant technical diploma or degree in engineering, materials science, or a related discipline is advantageous.
- Willingness to adhere to strict safety protocols and work on-site in industrial facilities in Bellary.
