Role Description The Qur'an Tajweed Tutor, Arabic Language, Islamic Studies role is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad. The tutor will teach Quran reading with Tajweed, oversee memorization (Hifz), and provide instruction in Arabic language and foundational Islamic Studies to learners of different ages and levels. Daily responsibilities include planning and delivering structured lessons, assessing student progress, offering personalized feedback, and maintaining a respectful, engaging classroom environment. The tutor will support students’ spiritual and academic development, encourage consistent practice, and collaborate with the institute’s team to enhance teaching materials and methods. The role also involves communicating regularly with learners and, where applicable, guardians to ensure continuous improvement and motivation.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Tutoring and Teaching, with experience guiding students in Quran Tajweed, Arabic, and Islamic Studies.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication and English Teaching skills to support clear instruction and interaction with diverse learners.
- Candidates should possess Online Tutoring skills, as familiarity with digital tools and platforms is beneficial for blended or supplementary instruction.
- A solid understanding of Tajweed rules, Quranic sciences, Arabic grammar, and core Islamic beliefs and practices.
- Relevant certifications or formal studies in Islamic Studies, Arabic language, or Quranic education from recognized institutions.
- Ability to manage classroom dynamics, adapt teaching methods to different age groups, and maintain a supportive, inclusive learning atmosphere.
- Strong organizational skills, reliability, and a commitment to professional ethics and continuous self-improvement
