Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Quality Engineer role based in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. The Quality Engineer will oversee quality processes across the production cycle, including developing and implementing quality standards, monitoring manufacturing activities, and performing inspections and testing of products. Responsibilities include analyzing data to identify quality issues, coordinating corrective and preventive actions, and supporting root cause analysis for nonconformities. The role involves collaborating with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to ensure product quality, maintaining documentation and records for audits, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in line with industry and company standards.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Quality Engineering and Product Quality, with the ability to apply engineering principles to improve processes and outcomes.
- Hands-on experience in Quality Control, including inspection methods, testing procedures, and use of measurement tools.
- Knowledge of Quality Assurance practices, such as process audits, documentation, and compliance with internal and external standards.
- Understanding of Quality Management systems, including implementation, monitoring of KPIs, and support for continuous improvement programs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Familiarity with root cause analysis tools (e.g., Pareto analysis, fishbone diagrams), statistical quality methods, and problem-solving techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications, and to communicate clearly with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work on-site in a manufacturing environment with adherence to safety protocols.
