Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Quality Control Engineer role based in the Greater Ahmedabad Area. The Quality Control Engineer will perform daily inspections and tests on industrial valves and related components, ensuring they meet internal standards and customer specifications. Responsibilities include developing and implementing quality control procedures, monitoring production processes, and documenting test results and nonconformities. The role involves collaborating closely with production, design, and quality assurance teams to resolve quality issues, support continuous improvement initiatives, and maintain compliance with relevant industry standards. The Quality Control Engineer will also assist in root cause analysis, prepare reports, and contribute to training team members on quality best practices.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Quality Control and Quality Assurance, with practical experience in industrial or manufacturing environments.
- Proficiency in Quality Management principles, including developing and maintaining quality standards, procedures, and documentation.
- Well-developed Analytical Skills for interpreting test data, performing root cause analysis, and recommending corrective actions.
- Effective Communication skills for working with cross-functional teams, reporting findings, and supporting training efforts.
- Relevant technical qualification such as a diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Familiarity with industrial valves or similar mechanical products is highly beneficial.
- Understanding of ISO or comparable quality management systems and basic knowledge of statistical quality control tools.
- Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced manufacturing setting, with attention to detail and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
