About The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled professional to join Uppteam as a Design and Construction Drawings Quality Control Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and coordination of architectural and engineering drawings. Your primary focus will be to uphold the highest standards of quality by leveraging industry-standard quality control practices and tools. Qualifications
- A degree or diploma in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in drawings review, quality control, and interdisciplinary coordination within the construction or design industry.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Revit, BIM tools, and other relevant design applications.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Thorough knowledge of construction standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of US Construction Document Sets (CD sets) to verify accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure design integrity by identifying and correcting missed elements, inconsistencies, or discrepancies in architectural and engineering drawings.
- Utilize detailed QC checklists to confirm that all design components meet project standards and quality criteria.
- Verify coordination among all disciplines, including Architectural, Structural, and Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection (MEPF) drawings.
- Employ overlay techniques and Building Information Modeling (BIM) for clash detection, resolution, and effective interdisciplinary coordination.
- Collaborate with design teams and consultants to resolve issues identified during review processes.
- Maintain detailed documentation of review findings, revisions, and quality control measures for project records.
- Stay updated on industry standards, best practices, and regulatory changes affecting construction documentation and quality control processes.
