Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dodda Ballapur within the Quality Department, focusing on In-Process Quality Control (IPQC) and Pre-Dispatch Inspection (PDI). The role involves monitoring production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards, conducting in-process inspections of PV junction boxes, connectors, and cables, and documenting inspection findings. The team member will perform pre-dispatch quality checks, verify compliance with internal and external specifications, and support corrective and preventive actions when deviations are identified. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with production and engineering teams, maintaining accurate quality records, supporting internal audits, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives in line with company certifications and customer requirements.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify trends, and support root cause analysis.
- Candidates should possess Quality Control skills, including in-process inspection, testing, and documentation of production quality.
- Candidates should possess Quality Assurance skills to support implementation of quality systems, standards, and continuous improvement activities.
- Candidates should possess Quality Auditing skills to assist with internal audits, process reviews, and compliance checks.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for clear reporting, documentation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Relevant experience in manufacturing or renewable energy components, especially PV products, is beneficial.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and related industry standards, with familiarity in working under certified quality systems, is preferred.
- A diploma or degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field is advantageous.
- Attention to detail, reliability in following procedures, and the ability to work safely in an on-site production environment are essential.
