Role Description The Quality Assurance Automation Engineer at Chooriang will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test suites to ensure the reliability and performance of VBA Macro Automation solutions and related software products. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with developers and business stakeholders to understand requirements, creating detailed test plans and test cases, performing manual and automated testing, and documenting defects with clear steps to reproduce. The engineer will also contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, maintain test environments, and support regression and integration testing activities. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bokaro, requiring close coordination with the local team to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Quality Assurance and Software Testing, with the ability to define and implement test strategies.
- Experience creating and managing detailed Test Cases and test plans aligned with functional and non-functional requirements.
- Hands-on skills in Manual Testing, including functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Proficiency in QA Automation, including building and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks.
- Familiarity with VBA-based or similar automation solutions, and understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Knowledge of common testing tools, defect tracking systems, and version control platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on quality.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document findings clearly and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in process improvement, test data management, and performance or load testing is a plus.
