Role Description The Quality Assurance Tester role at D2N Solutions is a full-time remote position focused on ensuring the reliability and quality of software applications. In this role, the tester will design, document, and execute test cases and test scenarios based on functional and technical requirements. Day-to-day tasks include performing manual testing, logging and tracking defects, analyzing test results, and collaborating with developers, business analysts, and project managers to resolve issues. The tester will participate in reviews of requirements and design documents to identify potential quality risks and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, standards, and documentation. The role also involves preparing clear test reports and communicating progress and issues to stakeholders in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Quality Assurance and Manual Testing skills for validating software functionality and performance.
- Candidates should possess Test Execution and Test Cases skills for designing, running, and maintaining effective test suites.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret requirements, identify defects, and troubleshoot complex issues.
- Experience with defect tracking tools and test management platforms (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, or similar) is beneficial.
- Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies is preferred.
- Basic understanding of automated testing concepts and willingness to learn automation tools is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote team environment are required.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is advantageous.
