Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze business and functional requirements and prepare comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and exploratory testing.
- Identify, document, track, and validate defects using defect-tracking tools.
- Execute test cases and maintain test documentation, test reports, and quality metrics.
- Develop and maintain automation test scripts for web applications.
- Work with automation frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, or similar tools.
- Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or equivalent.
- Collaborate with Developers, Product Managers, and Business Teams to understand requirements and ensure quality.
- Analyze application logs and database information to troubleshoot and validate defects.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of the QA process.
- Identify opportunities to improve test coverage through automation.
- Explore and utilize AI-powered QA/testing tools to improve test-case generation, test automation, defect analysis, and overall testing efficiency.
- Stay updated with emerging AI in Software Testing / AI-QA practices and tools.
Required Skills:
- 3–4 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance / Software Testing.
- Strong knowledge of Manual Testing concepts and SDLC/STLC.
- Hands-on experience with Automation Testing.
- Knowledge of Playwright and/or Selenium.
- Good understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Python for automation.
- Experience with API Testing and tools such as Postman
- Experience with defect-management tools such as Jira or similar.
- Understanding of Git/GitHub/GitLab and CI/CD concepts.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Familiarity with AI tools and Generative AI concepts, particularly their application in software testing.
- Good analytical, debugging, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in developing or maintaining an automation framework.
- Knowledge of CI/CD automation using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar tools.
- Experience with AI-assisted testing tools or LLM-based QA workflows.
- Knowledge of performance or security testing would be an added advantage.
