Job details:
- 5 years minimum with proven procurement process experience.
- Lead he sourcing, vendor negotiation, and procurement strategy for raw materials (scrap, sponge iron, pig iron, ferroalloys, coal/coke), plant consumables, refractories, and heavy machinery spares.
- Optimizing landed costs, securing stable supply chains to avoid furnace downtime, and managing high-value procurement within volatile commodities markets.
- Develop, scrutinize, mange vendors and material sourcing markets
- In-depth understanding of raw material & metallurgy expertise Understanding quality & grades, evaluate Testing certificates, chemicals & physical properties
- Market price tracking & Indexing Cost analysis & yield calculation Vendor sourcing & negotiation
- ERP & logistics management
Salary : Up to 5.5 LPA
