Job Title: Purchase Lead

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Purchase Lead to oversee and manage the procurement
operations, vendor relationships, and sourcing activities for our organization. The ideal candidate
will have strong negotiation skills, a solid understanding of supply chain processes, and the ability to lead cost-effective purchasing strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including sourcing, vendor evaluation, negotiations, and purchase order management.
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies that ensure timely availability of materials at the best possible cost.
- Identify, onboard, and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal teams to forecast purchasing needs.
- Review and analyse purchase requisitions, contracts, and quotations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Track, measure, and report on key procurement metrics such as cost savings, delivery timelines, and supplier performance.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, finance, and quality teams to ensure seamless materials flow.
- Resolve supply issues, delays, or shortages by working closely with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and vendor agreements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in procurement/purchasing, preferably with a strong background in the manufacturing or industrial sector.
- Strong negotiation and vendor-management skills.
- Excellent knowledge of purchasing processes, supply chain principles, and inventory management.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
- Strong analytical, communication, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Candidate Requirements:
Candidates should be local to Mohali or nearby areas and preferably have good knowledge of the
local market.
Compensation:
Annual CTC: Up to ₹6 LPA
