Company Description The Rehab Street is a specialized rehabilitation center with a highly experienced team of orthotists providing advanced treatment for upper and lower limb deformities. The team uses sophisticated diagnostic methods, including static and dynamic scans, to design precise and effective lower limb orthoses. Role Description The Prosthetist and Orthotist role at The Rehab Street is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurugram. In this role, the professional will assess individuals with musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions, perform detailed gait and movement analysis, and recommend appropriate prosthetic and orthotic solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include taking measurements, designing and fitting devices such as insoles, braces, splints, and prostheses, and adjusting them for optimal comfort and function. The role involves collaborating with physicians and rehabilitation specialists, educating individuals and caregivers on device use and care, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation. Ongoing responsibilities also include monitoring outcomes, providing follow-up support, and staying current with new materials, technologies, and evidence-based practices in prosthetics and orthotics.
Qualifications
- Strong technical expertise in Orthotics, including assessment, design, fitting, and adjustment of orthotic devices.
- Proficiency in Prosthetics, with experience in evaluating needs, fabricating, fitting, and aligning prosthetic limbs.
- Demonstrated skills in Gait Analysis, including the use of observational or instrumented methods for lower limb and foot assessment.
- Solid understanding of clinical Medicine relevant to musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, and rehabilitation care.
- Commitment to high-quality Patient Care, including clear communication, empathy, and individualized treatment planning.
- Recognized degree or diploma in Prosthetics and Orthotics from an accredited institution; relevant professional registration or license where applicable.
- Experience working in clinical or rehabilitation settings, preferably with limb deformities or amputation care.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and maintain accurate clinical records.
- Attention to detail, manual dexterity, and familiarity with modern materials, fabrication techniques, and diagnostic technologies.
