Role Description The Proposal Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Ghaziabad. The specialist will lead the end-to-end development of grant and project proposals, including reviewing RFPs, gathering requirements, and coordinating inputs from program, finance, and operations teams. Daily responsibilities include drafting and refining proposal content, preparing budgets and logical frameworks, ensuring compliance with donor guidelines, and aligning proposals with Sanmat’s mission and program priorities. The role involves maintaining a proposal pipeline, tracking submission timelines, and updating internal stakeholders on progress and outcomes. The Proposal Specialist will also support documentation of project achievements, build standard templates, and contribute to strengthening institutional fundraising processes.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Proposal Management and Project Management skills to oversee end-to-end proposal development and coordination.
- Candidates should possess solid Proposal Writing abilities, including structuring narratives, articulating theories of change, and developing budgets and logframes.
- Candidates should possess experience working with RFPs, including interpreting guidelines, compliance requirements, and eligibility criteria.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with internal teams and present ideas clearly to external partners.
- Relevant experience in social development, nonprofit, or CSR sectors, preferably with exposure to rural or grassroots programs.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Public Policy, Management, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and MS Office skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Ability to work collaboratively on-site in Ghaziabad, demonstrating integrity, initiative, and commitment to inclusive development.
