Company Description Scalync is a specialized tech studio dedicated exclusively to building digital products for pet brands and pet platforms. The team focuses on the unique psychology and needs of pet customers, delivering tailored solutions rather than generic e-commerce or app builds. Scalync designs and optimizes Shopify stores and marketplace storefronts, including migrations, subscription flows, loyalty layers, and high-conversion product pages. The studio also develops pet parent mobile apps with health tracking, vet management, community features, and personalized product discovery, as well as partner and business apps for breeders, kennels, and other service providers. Role Description The Project Lead is a full-time, on-site role based in Surat, responsible for overseeing end-to-end delivery of web and mobile projects for pet brands and platforms. In this role, you will manage project planning, scope, timelines, and resources, coordinating closely with designers, developers, and founders to ensure requirements are understood and met. You will lead daily stand-ups, track progress, remove blockers, and maintain clear communication with clients through status updates, feedback sessions, and risk management. The Project Lead will also contribute to product and feature definition, help prioritize backlogs, and ensure that solutions are aligned with business goals and user needs. You will be expected to maintain documentation, uphold quality standards, and continuously refine processes for more predictable and efficient project delivery.
Qualifications
- Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in software development (web and/or mobile), preferably in a product or agency environment.
- Ability to translate business requirements into clear technical tasks and deliverables, with familiarity in agile or hybrid methodologies.
- Comfort working with e-commerce or app ecosystems (e.g., Shopify, mobile apps), and understanding of digital product lifecycles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present progress, challenges, and solutions clearly.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and prioritization abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on outcomes.
- Experience collaborating directly with founders or clients, including requirements gathering, expectation setting, and feedback handling.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related discipline), or equivalent practical experience.
- Familiarity with tools such as project management systems (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana), documentation tools, and communication platforms.
- Interest in the pet industry and willingness to understand pet parent and service
