Job Description
Role Overview
The Project Coordinator will be based at the TDD office in Nashik and will be VOPA’s sole representative there, reporting to the State Project Lead, NIPUN Maharashtra. The role is the main link between TDD and VOPA’s teams in Pune. It combines coordination with senior government officers, close monitoring of programme data, and regular reporting for review meetings. Frequent travel to Project Offices and Ashram schools is expected.
Key Responsibilities
Programme Implementation and Coordination
- Support smooth execution and implementation of NIPUN activities across TDD’s Ashram schools, as VOPA’s single point of contact at the TDD office
- Coordinate with the Commissioner’s office, Additional Tribal Commissioners, Project Officers, and Ashram school headmasters for implementation and reviews
- Plan and support orientation of TDD officers, headmasters, and teachers on the app, dashboards, and new features
- Coordinate with VOPA’s tech, research, and NIPUN teams in Pune on app issues and TDD’s requests, and bring back field feedback
- Visit Project Offices and Ashram schools periodically to observe assessments and understand ground realities
- Data Monitoring and Analysis
- Monitor programme progress using Power BI dashboards and MIS tools
- Use advanced Excel for data cleaning, tracking, and analysis
- Analyse FLN assessment data to identify gaps, trends, and risks, including low participation, low-performing Project Offices and schools, and data quality concerns
- Convert data into clear, actionable insights for programme decisions
- Conduct basic research and deep-dive analysis as required
- Reporting and Communication
- Prepare MIS reports, dashboards, and review presentations for TDD
- Present data and progress in a simple, decision-oriented format at TDD review meetings
- Share a weekly update and a monthly progress report with VOPA, and maintain records of meetings, letters, and approvals
- Flag risks and delays at the early stage, along with a suggested way forward
Ideal Candidate Profile
We Are Looking For Someone Who
- Has 4 to 5 years of experience in a relevant field
- Holds a graduate degree in any discipline, with a preference for a background in development, research, or education
- Has strong command of Power BI and advanced Excel
- Can analyse data, prepare dashboards, and make clear presentations
- Has experience or exposure to state-level or district-level programmes, preferably through working with state-level government offices or Project Management Units (PMUs)
- Must be fluent in Marathi, Hindi and English language.
- Understands the tribal education context, or knows any tribal language (an advantage)
- Can work independently in a government office, stay composed under pressure, and travel across the Nashik, Nagpur, Amravati, and Thane regions when needed

Annual Salary Range
₹7,00,000 to ₹8,00,000 per annum CTC, based on skills, experience and interview performance
