Full-time, on-site | Bengaluru, Karnataka
Experience: 0 to 2 years
Industry: E-commerce / Digital Marketing / Consulting
Functional Area: Influencer Marketing, Affiliate Marketing, Creator Partnerships
About Blue Meridian Advisory
Blue Meridian Advisory is a founder-led e-commerce growth firm built by three ex-Amazon leaders who created the category, compliance, and seller growth systems that Amazon's best sellers run on. We bring that same operating discipline to mid-market consumer brands, running their growth across marketplaces, quick commerce, and D2C as one integrated business.
Between us, we have more than 21 combined years inside Amazon and oversight of over $2B in marketplace revenue across five global markets. We are neither a traditional agency nor a consultancy; we embed within our clients' businesses to shape strategy, own execution, and scale growth, with commercial models tied directly to client performance.
The creator channel is a growing part of that operating system. This is the person who owns it.
About the Role
Every consumer brand we work with runs into the same wall. They know creators sell product. Nobody inside the company has time to talk to two hundred of them.
That conversation is this job. You will build and run the influencer and affiliate programme for Blue Meridian's client brands: finding creators who fit a brand, opening the conversation, negotiating what they get paid, getting content live on the date agreed, and tracking what each one returned. You will do it across several consumer categories at once, from skincare to snacks to home.
We are hiring on temperament for this seat. The person who does well here is comfortable sending the first message to a stranger, following up three times without taking it personally, and holding a rate conversation without flinching.
If you already spend your day inside Instagram and YouTube and have opinions about which creators are worth their asking price, you are closer to qualified than most people with five years on a CV.
You will work directly with the founding team and own this programme in full from your first month.
What You'll Do
Sourcing and creator outreach
- Build a live creator pipeline for every brand on our roster, mapped by category, audience size, engagement quality, and price
- Own first contact across Instagram, YouTube, and email. You write the message, and you follow up until you get a yes or a clear no
- Qualify creators on real signals: comment quality, audience overlap with the brand, past brand work, and whether their followers actually buy
- Keep one source of truth for every creator contacted, their rate, their terms, and their outcome
Affiliate programme management
- Set up and run affiliate programmes on Amazon Associates, GoAffPro, Shopify Collabs, and equivalent platforms
- Negotiate commercials across flat fees, commission splits, barter, and hybrid deals, and know which structure fits which creator
- Issue tracking links and coupon codes, and confirm attribution works before a campaign goes live
- Chase deliverables so content ships on the date agreed, in the format agreed
Performance and reporting
- Track clicks, orders, revenue, and cost for every creator, and report what each partnership actually returned
- Cut the partnerships that do not pay back, and put the budget behind the ones that do
- Deliver a weekly view to the founding team and to client brands covering pipeline, live campaigns, and attributed revenue
Campaign coordination
- Brief creators on the brand, the product, and the message, then review content before it goes live
- Work with the creative and performance marketing teams so the strongest creator content gets used in paid campaigns
- Handle payouts, invoices, and basic partnership paperwork with support from the team
What You'll Bring
- 0 to 2 years of experience, any discipline. What you studied matters less than how you talk to people
- Genuinely outgoing. You start conversations with people you have never met, and you do it without dreading it
- Daily, native familiarity with Instagram, YouTube, and the Indian creator economy. You should be able to name ten creators in a category and tell us why three of them are overpriced
- Clear written English. Your outreach message is the product, so it has to read like a person wrote it
- Organised by instinct. This role runs a hundred parallel conversations, and forgetting one costs a brand money
- Comfortable with numbers. Every week you will be asked what a creator cost and what they returned
- Based in Bengaluru, or willing to relocate. This is an on-site role
Good to Have
- You ran something at college: a fest, a society, a page, a small business. Anything where you had to convince people to say yes
- Your own content presence, however small. Posting consistently teaches you what you will be asking creators to do
- An internship in marketing, sales, community, or partnerships
- Working spreadsheet skill: filters, VLOOKUP, pivot tables
- Hindi or a second Indian language, useful for creator conversations outside the metros
Tools You Will Work With
You do not need all six on day one. You do need to be the kind of person who picks up a new tool over a weekend and has it running by Monday.
- Instagram and YouTube
- Google Sheets
- Amazon Associates
- GoAffPro and Shopify Collabs
- Notion and ClickUp
- Canva
Why This Role Is Different
- The whole programme, not a slice. A first marketing job usually hands you part of somebody else's programme: the reporting, or the scheduling, or the inbox. Here you get the whole thing. What this programme looks like in twelve months is what you will have built.
- Founder access. You decide which creators we work with, what we pay them, and how we prove it worked. The founding partners will argue with you about all three, and you will need to defend your call with numbers.
- Commercial visibility. You will sit close to commercial data that most people at your level never see: client revenue, ad spend, margin. When a creator campaign works, you will know exactly how much it made and who made it.
- The trade is real. This is on-site in Bengaluru, the pace is quick, and there is nowhere to hide when a campaign slips.
The role suits someone who wants to own a revenue line in their first year. If you want a job where the scope is written down and stays that way, you will be unhappy here.
How We Hire
We hire on craft and character, not on keywords in a CV. Expect a direct conversation with the founders about the work you have done and the work you want to do, alongside a practical work sample. The process is quick, and you will always know where you stand.
