Production Executive
The Production Executive will be responsible for coordinating and supervising day-to-day production activities, ensuring smooth workflow, timely achievement of production targets, effective manpower utilisation, and adherence to quality and process standards.
Key Responsibilities
Production Planning & Execution
* Plan and allocate daily production activities based on priorities and timelines.
* Monitor production progress and ensure timely completion of targets.
* Identify production gaps, bottlenecks, and delays and take corrective action.
* Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure materials and resources are available.
Shop Floor & Manpower Management
* Supervise daily shop-floor activities and monitor productivity and quality.
* Allocate manpower based on production requirements.
* Guide the team to achieve daily targets and ensure efficient manpower utilisation.
* Escalate critical production issues to the reporting manager/HOD.
Coordination & Documentation
* Coordinate with Sales, Purchase, Stores, Design, Quality, and other teams.
* Ensure production data, records, and reports are accurately updated in the ERP.
* Monitor planned vs. actual production and highlight variances.
Quality & Process Improvement
* Ensure adherence to defined processes, quality standards, and safety requirements.
* Minimise errors, rework, wastage, and production delays.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain process discipline on the shop floor.
Technical & Educational Requirements
* Degree/Diploma in Interior Design, Mechanical/Production Engineering, or a related technical field.
* Working knowledge of SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Fusion 360.
* Ability to interpret technical and production drawings.
* Good understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and production workflows.
* Furniture manufacturing experience will be an added advantage.
Required Skills
* Strong production planning and coordination skills.
* Good problem-solving, communication, and follow-up skills.
* Ability to manage teams and multiple priorities.
* Basic knowledge of ERP systems and production reporting.
* Process-oriented and detail-focused approach.
Preferred Experience
* Experience in production, manufacturing, operations, or shop-floor management.
* Hands-on experience with CAD/design software.
* Experience in furniture manufacturing, furniture design, or interior design.
* Experience coordinating between design and production teams.
