Hiring on behalf of our group company, Naman Rubber Industries — Production Engineer, PVC Gumboots (Compounding + Moulding) 📍 Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh
Naman Rubber Industries is scaling up PVC gumboot manufacturing at Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh. We're looking for someone who understands both sides of the process — the granule and the boot.
What you'll own
- PVC compound formulation and control — resin K-value, plasticiser, filler, stabiliser, pigment ratios
- Granule quality: dry blend / hot-mix, pelletising, batch-to-batch consistency, rework handling
- Injection / rotary moulding — cycle time, temperature profiles, mould changeovers
- Rejection control, cost per pair, line output, manpower productivity
- Raw material vendor evaluation and incoming QC
Essential
- 3–8 years hands-on in PVC footwear (gumboots, PVC sandals, safety boots) or PVC compounding
- Working knowledge of gumboot manufacturing specifically — construction, sole/upper bonding, common defects (brittleness, blistering, off-shade, delamination) and their fixes
- Familiarity with safety-footwear standards IS 12254 / IS 15298 — testing parameters and compliance requirements
- ability to read a formulation sheet and explain why a batch went brittle, blistered, or off-shade
- Comfortable on the shop floor for a full shift — this is a hands-on role, not a cabin role
Desirable
- Experience commissioning or stabilising a new line
- Mould trial and maintenance experience
