About SARC
SARC is a 40-year-old multidisciplinary advisory firm with over 100 partners and 500+ professionals, and offices in India, UK, UAE, Singapore, and the USA. This role is for our new technology consulting vertical that offers consulting services and products on data protection (DPDP), cyber risk, and digital transformation. We have also built DataSurity, our own software product that runs DPDP compliance for clients. This role sits at the centre of both worlds: it markets our advisory services and it markets DataSurity as a product.
The Role
We are hiring a Product Marketing Associate to build the brand and market voice for our Tech Practice and, most importantly, to drive marketing for DataSurity. We want someone who can think like a founder about how DataSurity is positioned, priced in the market's mind, and sold while also carrying the same sharpness into how we market DPDP and Cyber Risk consulting. We are looking for someone who is AI-first: comfortable using AI tools (including Claude) daily to research, draft, design, and ship content faster than a traditional marketing team would. You should be able to punch above your weight - get senior-consulting-firm quality output without a large team behind you.
What you'll do:
Product marketing for DataSurity (primary focus)
- Own how DataSurity is positioned and explained to the market — what problem it solves, why it's different, and why a compliance/risk buyer should care.
- Build the product's go-to-market materials: one-pagers, demo scripts, website copy, sales decks, case studies.
- Work closely with the founder and product team to translate what the product does into language a buyer understands — no jargon, no fluff.
- Plan and run product launches and feature announcements.
- Track what's working — messaging, channels, content — and adjust based on real market response, not guesswork.
Brand and content marketing for the Tech Practice
- Build and manage a content calendar across DPDP, Cyber Risk, and Digital Transformation — blogs, whitepapers, LinkedIn posts, case studies, leadership commentary.
- Turn SARC's consulting expertise (frameworks, methodologies, client work) into content that builds authority in the market.
- React quickly to real-world news (a new DPDP guideline, a major cyber breach) with sharp, timely content.
- Work with design tools/templates to produce polished visual content — decks, social posts, one-pagers — without depending on an external design agency for everything.
Pitching and representation
- Represent SARC and DataSurity in front of prospects — pitch decks, product demos, and client-facing presentations.
- Support the sales and consulting teams with the right materials for every stage of a deal — from first pitch to proposal.
- Be a confident, articulate voice for the brand — on a call, on stage, or in writing.
What we are looking for
- 3–7 years of experience in product marketing, brand marketing, or B2B tech/SaaS marketing. Experience marketing a product (not only services) is important.
- Excellent written and verbal communication — able to write clean, persuasive copy and also present/pitch confidently in person.
- AI-first working style — actively uses AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) as part of daily work, not just aware of them.
- Comfortable working with small teams and high ownership - this is a role where you'll do the work yourself, not manage a large team of specialists.
- Experience in (or strong ability to quickly learn) B2B tech, SaaS, cybersecurity, or compliance/regulatory markets.
- Some working knowledge of design tools (Canva, Figma, or similar) and basic content/analytics tools.
- Self-starter who can work directly with founders/leadership with minimal hand-holding.
Nice to have
- Experience marketing a product from near-zero to real market traction (early-stage startup or new product line).
- Understanding of data privacy, cybersecurity, or regulatory compliance concepts.
- Video/short-form content experience.
Education
- A bachelor's degree is required; preferably in engineering or business administration
- An MBA or postgraduate marketing qualification is a plus but not mandatory - we care more about demonstrated work than the degree itself.
