The opportunity
Help more customers discover Rupeek, take their first loan, and choose us again.
As Product Manager for Consumer Growth, you’ll own growth opportunities across our app and web journeys—from initial discovery and onboarding to conversion, repeat borrowing, and referrals.
You’ll combine customer research, product analytics, and experimentation to make borrowing simpler and more intuitive. Your mandate is to deliver measurable, sustainable growth while building customer confidence at every step.
What you’ll own
- Activation and conversion: Identify where customers hesitate or drop off, and improve the journey from first visit to a successfully disbursed loan.
- Customer understanding: Use interviews, feedback, funnel analysis, and cohort insights to uncover customer needs and barriers.
- Growth experimentation: Develop hypotheses, prioritize opportunities, and run A/B tests or pilots with clear success criteria.
- Retention and repeat usage: Build relevant journeys that bring customers back when they need credit and encourage referrals.
- Personalized experiences: Partner with business and marketing teams on messaging, offers, and lifecycle engagement that reflect customer needs.
- End-to-end execution: Work with design, engineering, analytics, and operations to launch improvements, measure results, and scale what works.
What success looks like
Better onboarding completion, higher conversion to disbursal, stronger repeat usage and referrals, and improved funnel efficiency—with customer trust, satisfaction, and business economics as guardrails.
What you’ll bring
- 3–5 years of product management experience, preferably in consumer technology, fintech, or digital platforms.
- Evidence of improving a customer or business metric through product changes—and a clear explanation of what you learned.
- Strong understanding of funnels, cohorts, retention, and experimentation.
- Hands-on experience with analytics tools such as Mixpanel, Amplitude, or Google Analytics. SQL proficiency is a plus.
- Strong product judgment: the ability to connect customer needs, user experience, and commercial outcomes.
- Clear communication and the ability to turn ambiguous problems into focused, testable opportunities.
- Experience in onboarding, conversion, lifecycle engagement, or referral products is valuable.
Why this role
- Own measurable growth: Connect your product decisions directly to customer and business outcomes.
- Solve a meaningful consumer challenge: Make a trust-sensitive financial journey easier to understand and complete.
- Shape the full customer lifecycle: Work across first-time adoption, engagement, repeat usage, and advocacy.
- Build and learn: Take ideas from customer insight to experiment to scale product improvement.
