Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Procurement Manager role based in Gurugram. The Procurement Manager will oversee end-to-end procurement activities for solar EPC and asset services projects, including sourcing materials, equipment, and services in line with project timelines and budgets. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying and evaluating suppliers, managing RFQs and bids, negotiating contracts and commercial terms, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards. The role involves close coordination with engineering, project management, finance, and operations teams to align procurement decisions with technical specifications and project goals. The Procurement Manager will also monitor supplier performance, manage contract execution, optimize costs, and contribute to continuous improvement of procurement processes and strategies.
Qualifications
- Strong procurement and supplier evaluation skills, with experience in sourcing for engineering or energy projects.
- Proficiency in contract negotiation and contract management to secure favorable terms and manage risk.
- Advanced analytical skills for cost analysis, bid comparison, and data-driven decision-making.
- Knowledge of solar EPC or renewable energy industry procurement practices is highly desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field; postgraduate qualification is a plus.
- Experience in a procurement or supply chain management role, preferably in infrastructure, energy, or construction.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and vendor relationship skills.
- Ability to work on-site in Gurugram, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet strict timelines.
- Proficiency with procurement software, ERP systems, and MS Office tools.
- Commitment to ethical sourcing, safety standards, and sustainability-focused practices.
