About the Role
Alisha Power Private Limited is looking for an experienced Process Engineer to support engineering and project execution activities for Oil & Gas / EPIC-EPC projects.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in process engineering, process design, preparation and review of engineering deliverables, technical coordination and working with multidisciplinary project teams.
Key Responsibilities
· Perform process engineering activities for Oil & Gas / EPIC-EPC projects from concept/design through project execution.
· Review project specifications, client requirements, process design basis and applicable codes/standards.
· Prepare and review key process engineering deliverables, including:
o Process Design Basis
o Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs)
o Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
o Heat & Material Balances
o Equipment and Instrument Data Sheets
o Process calculations
o Equipment sizing calculations
o Utility summaries and process descriptions
· Perform process calculations and engineering analysis as required for project requirements.
· Develop and review process flow schemes and ensure technical compliance with project specifications.
· Coordinate with Piping, Mechanical, Instrumentation, Electrical, Civil and other engineering disciplines.
· Review vendor documents and provide process-related technical comments.
· Prepare technical specifications, datasheets and other process engineering documents.
· Participate in design reviews, HAZOP, HAZID, SIL and other technical review meetings as required.
· Incorporate client comments and ensure timely closure of technical queries.
· Support preparation of technical proposals and tender engineering activities when required.
· Coordinate with procurement and project teams for technical inputs related to process equipment and packages.
· Assist in resolving technical issues arising during project execution.
· Ensure process engineering deliverables are prepared in accordance with approved project schedules, quality requirements and applicable standards.
· Maintain proper documentation and records of engineering deliverables, revisions and technical correspondence.
· Provide technical support to project/site teams as required.
Required Skills & Competencies
· Strong understanding of Process Engineering and Process Design.
· Good knowledge of Oil & Gas processing systems and EPIC/EPC project execution.
· Ability to prepare and review PFDs, P&IDs and process calculations.
· Knowledge of relevant engineering codes, standards and client specifications.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Good understanding of multidisciplinary engineering coordination.
· Strong technical documentation and communication skills.
· Ability to work effectively with clients, consultants, vendors and internal project teams.
· Proficiency in relevant engineering software/tools used for process design and documentation.
Qualification & Experience
· B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering or relevant engineering discipline.
· 5–8 years of relevant experience in Process Engineering / Process Design.
· Experience in Oil & Gas / EPIC / EPC projects is required.
· Experience with established EPC/EPIC companies preferred.
· Candidates with experience in process design, engineering deliverables and project execution will be preferred.
Preferred Exposure
Candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas will be preferred:
· Oil & Gas processing facilities
· Refineries / Petrochemicals
· Gas Processing / Gas Compression
· Terminals and storage facilities
· Utilities and offsite systems
· Process packages
· FEED / Detailed Engineering
· EPC project execution
· Client/consultant coordination
