Exide Energy Solutions Limited is looking for Process Engineer in the Manufacturing organisation to achieve company’s goal at the Devanahalli, Bangalore Location.

Purpose: The purpose of the Production Process Engineer role is to ensure the efficient and sustainable operation of our Li-ion Cell Gigafactory's cutting-edge manufacturing processes, driving continuous improvement, and upholding the highest standards of quality and sustainability
Job Description:
- Develop, establish, and optimize manufacturing processes from NPI through mass production, including process trials, ramp-up, and validation.
- Monitor and improve process performance including yield, FPY, cycle time, OEE, throughput, scrap, and process-related downtime.
- Identify process abnormalities and lead structured root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and recurrence prevention.
- Establish and maintain process standards, work instructions, process controls, and supporting documentation.
- Use manufacturing data and appropriate analytical methods to identify trends, process variation, and improvement opportunities.
- Drive continuous improvement and cost/sustainability initiatives while maintaining safety and product quality.
- Work closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Equipment, R&D, and EHS teams to resolve process issues and improve process capability.
- Support equipment commissioning, process trials, qualification, and validation; assess the impact of equipment or process changes before production release.
- Ensure process changes are evaluated, validated, documented, and implemented through the applicable change-control process.
- Train and support Operations teams to ensure standardized and sustainable process execution.
Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Materials, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 5 - 12 years of process/manufacturing engineering experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Li-ion battery/cell manufacturing experience is preferred; relevant experience in other highly automated process industries may also be considered.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of Lean / continuous improvement and manufacturing quality practices.
