Role Description: The Primary School Teacher will plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum and educational standards. In this full-time, on-site role located in Vasai-Virar, the teacher will manage classroom activities, assess student learning, maintain records, and provide regular feedback to learners and parents or guardians. Daily responsibilities include creating lesson plans, facilitating interactive learning, supporting literacy and numeracy development, and fostering a safe, inclusive classroom environment. The teacher will participate in school events, staff meetings, and collaborative planning with colleagues, and contribute to co-curricular activities that promote social and emotional growth. Ongoing responsibilities also include maintaining classroom discipline in a positive manner and adapting teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Teaching and Elementary Education, with experience guiding primary-level learners.
- Effective Communication skills for interacting with learners, families, and colleagues.
- Relevant teaching qualification or degree in Education or a related field.
- Prior classroom teaching experience at the primary school level is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in lesson planning, student assessment, and record-keeping.
