Role Description The Plumbing Revit Modeller will create, update, and coordinate detailed plumbing models and drawings using Autodesk Revit for various building projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing layouts for piping and plumbing systems, preparing construction documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards, and coordinating with structural, architectural, and MEP teams to resolve clashes and design issues. The role also involves reviewing design inputs, incorporating markups and revisions, and maintaining organized project files and families within Revit. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, requiring close collaboration with project managers and engineers to meet deadlines and quality expectations.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong technical skills in Plumbing system design, including fixture layouts, drainage, water supply, and venting.
- Candidates should possess skills related to Pipe routing and modeling, including pipe sizing, layout optimization, and coordination with other building services.
- Candidates should possess capabilities in Maintenance & Repair and Maintenance planning, with an understanding of practical installation and service considerations.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills, including clear communication with internal stakeholders and responsiveness to project requirements.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit for MEP/Plumbing modeling, with experience in creating families, views, schedules, and coordinated drawings.
- Understanding of relevant plumbing codes, standards, and best practices for building services.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to interpret engineering and architectural drawings, and problem-solving skills in a project environment.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Civil, or related engineering discipline; prior experience in plumbing Revit modeling or MEP design is preferred.
