Job details:
•Independently manage complete day-to-day refinery and plant operations
• Lead and manage a team of 25+ employees
• Prepare duty rosters, shift schedules and manpower allocation
• Plan and schedule production to consistently achieve production targets
• Supervise gold & precious metal refining, recovery, melting and production processes
• Ensure maximum gold and silver recovery with stringent control over process losses
• Monitor recovery efficiency, yields and metal balance at every stage of production
• Ensure accurate metal accounting, inventory control, reconciliation and production records
• Identify, investigate and minimise metal losses and process variances
• Coordinate with Laboratory, Maintenance, Stores, Quality and Management
• Manage documentation, implementation and coordination for BIS, NABL and RJC certifications and audits
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, responsible sourcing and operational standards
• Drive continuous improvement in recovery, productivity, process efficiency and cost control
Candidate Profile
• 10+ years of relevant experience in Gold / Precious Metal Refining
• Strong practical and technical knowledge of gold refining, recovery and melting processes
• Proven track record of achieving high recovery with strict metal-loss control and reconciliation
• Experience independently managing plant operations and production
• Experience managing a 25+ member team
• Good understanding of BIS, NABL and RJC certification/audit requirements
• Strong leadership, production planning, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Relevant technical / engineering qualification preferred
