Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Production Manager with a strong background in metal fabrication. The candidate should have hands-on expertise in laser cutting, CNC press brake operations, robotic MIG welding, and bending processes. The role involves managing end-to-end production activities, ensuring quality compliance, optimizing resources, and meeting delivery timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, organize, and control production activities to meet project schedules and delivery commitments.
Oversee fabrication and manufacturing of pipe supports as per approved drawings and MEP standards.
Coordinate with procurement for steel sourcing, vendor selection, and material availability.
Ensure optimal utilization of raw materials, manpower, and machinery.
Monitor production costs, minimize wastage, and improve productivity.
Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety norms, and company procedures.
Work closely with design, QA/QC, stores, and dispatch teams for smooth operations.
Review production reports, capacity planning, and daily output.
Implement process improvements and best manufacturing practices.
Handle manpower planning, supervision, and performance monitoring of shop-floor teams.
Requirements & Qualifications
510 years of experience in metal fabrication / manufacturing industry
Strong expertise in: Laser cutting, CNC press brake, Robotic MIG welding and bending
Knowledge of quality standards: ISO 9000, Welding standards (ISO 3834 or equivalent)
Strong leadership, team handling, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage production planning, cost control, and process optimization
Good coordination and communication skills
