The Opportunity
This is a hands-on, executional role for a marketer who lives in the ad accounts. You'll run and optimize our app campaigns day to day on Meta and Google, working alongside our performance lead and growth team, and you'll get to do it in an environment where AI is baked into how we work. Instead of running the same campaigns and tweaking bids, you'll be forming hypotheses, testing at volume, and using AI to move faster than a marketer normally could.
If you're the kind of person who sees a stuck metric and can't sleep until you've found three unconventional ways to move it, read on.
What You'll Actually Do
Run and optimize campaigns, every day. This is the core of the job. You'll launch, monitor, and optimize UAC campaigns on Google and Meta to drive app installs, engagement, and retention. You'll manage budgets across channels, watch the numbers closely, and make the calls that keep CAC down and volume up.
Be relentlessly data-heavy. Every decision is a bet, and you back your bets with numbers. You'll live inside campaign data (installs, CAC, ROAS, LTV, cohort behavior, funnel drop-offs), build and read your own dashboards, and hunt for where the money leaks and where the next gain is hiding. You slice it, you find the real cause, and you act.
Feed the creative machine. Creative is our biggest lever, and you'll work closely with the creative team to make it count. You'll bring them data-backed angles, spot what's working for our audience, brief new variants, and test them fast so winners scale and losers die quickly.
Know the platforms cold and use AI to go faster. Be obsessed with the objective and closing the gap to it. Know the Meta and Google systems inside out, keep reading up on new ways to optimize, and jump on new features the platforms release to squeeze more out of them. You'll form AI-driven hypotheses, use AI and automation to analyze data and diagnose campaigns quicker, and put those tools to work on the actual number you're chasing. Problem first, tools second.
Solve whatever's in the way. Attribution looks off? A channel plateaus? A creative format suddenly dies? You dig in, figure it out, and find the non-conventional path when the obvious one is exhausted. You pick up problems that aren't strictly "your job" because you want the number to move.
Keep the plumbing honest. Work with our measurement setup (MMPs like AppsFlyer / Adjust / Singular, conversion events, deep links, attribution) so the data you're betting on is trustworthy, and work across product and creative teams to make every rupee convert.
Experiment for growth. Find and prove out new channels, audiences, and angles before competitors do, and test new platforms as they emerge.
Who You Are
- Data-obsessed. You make decisions from metrics, not vibes, and you can defend every one of them.
- A creative thinker with taste. You know a great angle when you see it and can articulate why it works for our audience.
- A problem solver who won't quit. You find unconventional routes when the standard playbook runs out.
- A hands-on self-starter. You take initiative, pick up anything on the way, and get things done without being managed.
- AI-native. You're already using AI to work faster and smarter, and hungry to push it further.
- Comfortable in chaos. Fast pace, rapid change, high ownership, that's the fun part for you.
Must-Have Skills
- 2–4 years in UAC / mobile app marketing, hands-on with Facebook Ads and Google Ads
- Strong command of app growth metrics (CAC, ROAS, LTV) and how to optimize them
- Excellent data analysis and problem-solving; you can experiment at high volume and read the results correctly
- Experience with MMP platforms (AppsFlyer / Adjust / Singular): events, deep links, attribution
- Solid understanding of funnel optimization and user acquisition strategy
- Comfort using AI tools in your workflow
Nice to Have
- You've used AI or automation to speed up your marketing work
- A track record of creative-led growth (you've made creative your winning lever before)
- Edtech or consumer-app growth experience in the Indian market
Candidates from premier institutions such as IITs and BITS are preferred.
Why Supernova
- Scale that's genuinely rare. Your creative direction reaches millions, with impact visible in days, not quarters.
- High autonomy and real ownership. You set the creative bar, the plan, and the win rate behind it.
- Build in the AI era, at one of India's standout consumer companies.
- A true meritocracy of ideas. The best argument wins, not the loudest voice.
- Competitive salary and generous ESOP.
