Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Pediatric Nurse role based at Fernandez Hospital in Hyderabad. The Pediatric Nurse will provide compassionate, age-appropriate nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting in medical procedures. Responsibilities include coordinating with pediatricians and other healthcare professionals, educating families on treatment plans and preventive care, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation. The role also involves responding to emergencies, supporting critical care needs, adhering to hospital protocols and infection control standards, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives within the pediatric department.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Pediatric Nursing and Pediatrics skills to provide specialized care for infants, children, and adolescents.
- Candidates should possess solid Nursing and Critical Care Nursing skills to manage routine and high-acuity pediatric patients safely.
- Candidates should possess foundational Medicine knowledge relevant to pediatric conditions and treatments.
- Candidates should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to support children and families with empathy and clarity.
- Candidates should possess a recognized nursing qualification (GNM, B.Sc Nursing or equivalent), valid nursing registration, and relevant pediatric clinical experience.
- Candidates should possess strong observation, documentation, and infection control practices, and be able to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and rotating shifts.
