Role Description The Nurse Intern role is a full-time, on-site position based in Hyderabad. The Nurse Intern will assist registered nurses and the clinical team in delivering rehabilitation-focused nursing care, including monitoring vital signs, supporting daily living activities, and documenting patient observations. The role involves helping with therapy sessions by preparing patients for rehab, occupational, and speech therapies, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment. The Nurse Intern will learn and follow care plans, support infection control practices, maintain equipment and supplies, and participate in patient education under supervision. The position also includes collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, responding promptly to patient needs, and adhering to hospital policies and protocols.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess foundational clinical skills such as basic patient assessment, vital signs monitoring, and safe handling and positioning of patients.
- Candidates should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary care teams.
- Candidates should possess knowledge or exposure to rehabilitation care, including neurological, orthopedic, stroke, or geriatric nursing concepts.
- Candidates should possess sound ethical judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to follow clinical protocols and documentation standards.
- Candidates should possess the ability to learn quickly, adapt to a fast-paced hospital environment, and demonstrate empathy and respect toward all patients.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (in progress or recently completed), with appropriate registration or eligibility to register with the relevant nursing council.
- Willingness to work on-site in Hyderabad in a shift-based schedule, including weekends and holidays as required.
- Previous internship, clinical posting, or hospital exposure in rehabilitation or acute care settings is an added advantage.
