About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Pattern Master who can develop accurate patterns based on designs, measurements, and client requirements. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of garment/product construction, measurements, sizing, and pattern development, along with hands-on experience using CAD and Optitex.
The person should also be comfortable contributing new ideas and practical suggestions during the product development process.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and modify patterns based on designs, sketches, measurements, and client requirements.
- Understand and work with basic and detailed measurements, size charts, and client-specific sizes.
- Create accurate patterns for different sizes and requirements.
- Use CAD and Optitex for digital pattern making and modifications.
- Interpret designs and convert them into technically accurate patterns.
- Suggest improvements and share ideas related to fit, construction, measurements, and pattern development.
- Coordinate with the design, production, and sampling teams to ensure accurate execution.
- Make pattern corrections based on samples, fittings, and feedback.
- Ensure patterns are production-ready and meet required measurements and specifications.
- Work closely with the on-site team and resolve pattern-related issues during sampling and production.
- Maintain proper records of patterns, measurements, size specifications, and revisions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Pattern Master / Pattern Maker.
- Good understanding of measurements, sizing, proportions, and garment/product construction.
- Hands-on knowledge of CAD and Optitex.
- Ability to understand client measurements and develop patterns accordingly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to identify fitting and construction issues and provide practical solutions.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
- Willingness to work on-site.
