Role Description The HPDC Engineer will work on-site in Jaipur in a full-time capacity, focusing on high-pressure die casting processes related to LED display components and associated hardware. Responsibilities include designing and optimizing die casting tools, overseeing production runs, monitoring process parameters, and ensuring that parts meet quality and performance standards. The role involves collaborating with design, fabrication, and assembly teams to resolve manufacturing issues, improve cycle times, and reduce defects. The HPDC Engineer will also maintain documentation for tooling, process changes, and quality checks, as well as support vendor coordination and cost-optimization initiatives. Daily work includes hands-on supervision on the shop floor, troubleshooting equipment issues, and contributing to continuous improvement projects.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of high-pressure die casting processes, including tool design, gating systems, and defect analysis.
- Experience with CAD/CAE tools for component and die design, such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar software.
- Understanding of manufacturing workflows, fabrication methods, and assembly practices for metal and mechanical components.
- Familiarity with quality control techniques, measurement tools, and standards relevant to precision casting and mechanical parts.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, material specifications, and tolerances, and translate them into manufacturing instructions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot process issues on the production floor.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams, vendors, and production staff.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience in die casting, foundry operations, or metal component manufacturing is highly beneficial.
- Willingness to work on-site in Jaipur and engage in hands-on engineering and production activities.
