Role Description The Patient Navigator role is a full-time, hybrid position based in New Delhi, with some flexibility for work from home. The individual will guide patients throughout their treatment journey, helping them understand therapy plans, access medications, schedule appointments, and follow up on diagnostic tests and refills. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with healthcare providers, pharmacies, and support teams, maintaining accurate patient records, and monitoring adherence to prescribed therapies. The Patient Navigator will provide tele-counselling and in-person support, address patient queries, and escalate clinical concerns to appropriate medical professionals when needed. The role also involves educating patients and caregivers, tracking program outcomes, and supporting the implementation of Patient Assistance and Support Programs in line with Medybiz Pharma protocols.
Qualifications
- Strong patient communication and counselling skills, including the ability to explain treatment plans clearly and provide empathetic support.
- Experience in care coordination or case management, with skills in scheduling, follow-up tracking, and managing multiple patient interactions.
- Proficiency in using digital tools and healthcare systems (CRM, tele-support platforms, basic MS Office) for documentation and reporting.
- Knowledge of therapy adherence, chronic disease management, or pharmaceutical services, preferably within patient support or assistance programs.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and field staff, and to work independently in a hybrid work environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management capabilities, with attention to detail and adherence to protocols and data privacy standards.
- Fluency in English and Hindi; additional regional languages are an advantage.
- Diploma or degree in nursing, pharmacy, life sciences, social work, or a related healthcare field; prior experience in patient-facing roles is preferred.
