Oracle NetSuite Functional SME / Implementation Lead
Location: Financial District, Hyderabad
Work Model: Hybrid 1 days/week onsite
Project: Brand-New Oracle NetSuite Implementation

Role Overview
We are looking for a
Senior Oracle NetSuite Functional SME / Implementation Lead to lead a
full-cycle NetSuite implementation from discovery through go-live and stabilization.
The ideal candidate will be a hands-on
NetSuite Functional Consultant/SME with strong experience across
Core Financials, P2P, O2C, Project Management, and Project Accounting. This person will work closely with finance, accounting, procurement, sales, project teams, executives, Oracle NetSuite, the System Integrator (SI), and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end NetSuite implementation including discovery, design, configuration, testing, migration, cutover, and go-live.
- Conduct business-process discovery, fit-gap analysis, and future-state solution design.
- Configure and support NetSuite Financials, GL, AP, AR, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, P2P, O2C, Project Management, and Project Accounting.
- Configure Chart of Accounts, subsidiaries, legal entities, departments, locations, tax, workflows, approvals, roles, dashboards, reports, and saved searches.
- Lead P2P processes including requisitions, POs, receipts, vendor invoices, 3-way matching, approvals, payments, and supplier management.
- Lead O2C processes including customers, quotes, sales orders, billing, collections, receipts, revenue, and accounting.
- Design Project Management & Project Accounting processes including budgets, contracts, project costs, billing, revenue, capitalization, and profitability.
- Support Indian localization requirements, including GST, TDS, statutory reporting, invoicing, and vendor payments.
- Lead legacy data migration, including data mapping, cleansing, validation, reconciliation, and conversion of customers, vendors, projects, assets, AP/AR, and opening balances.
- Partner with technical teams on integrations, workflows, reports, dashboards, SuiteApps, and customizations.
- Lead CRP, SIT, UAT, user training, defect management, and production readiness.
- Develop functional documentation including BRD/FRD, solution designs, configuration workbooks, process flows, test scripts, and user guides.
- Coordinate with Oracle NetSuite, SI partners, technical teams, and business stakeholders.
- Lead cutover, go-live, and post-production stabilization.
- Identify opportunities to improve and automate finance, procurement, billing, project accounting, and construction processes.
- Evaluate NetSuite mobile/tablet capabilities for executives, project managers, approvers, and field users.
Must-Have Skills
- Strong hands-on Oracle NetSuite Functional experience.
- Experience leading at least one full-cycle NetSuite implementation or major ERP-to-NetSuite migration.

- Hands-on experience with NetSuite configuration, workflows, roles, approvals, dashboards, reports, and saved searches.
- Experience with requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, testing, data migration, cutover, and go-live.
- Strong accounting and financial-process knowledge.
- Experience working with business stakeholders, SI partners, Oracle NetSuite, technical teams, and senior leadership.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work 3 days/week onsite in Hyderabad Financial District during the implementation phase.
Preferred Skills
- NetSuite certification preferred.
- Experience with Indian GST, TDS, and statutory reporting.
- Experience in construction, real estate, engineering, infrastructure, or other project-based industries.
- Knowledge of construction/project processes, including project budgeting, subcontractors, site procurement, progress billing, retention, project costing, and profitability.
- Exposure to SuiteApps, SuiteCloud, SuiteAnalytics, REST/SOAP, integrations, and NetSuite data-migration tools.
- CA, CMA, MBA Finance, or degree in Accounting/Finance is a plus.
Ideal Candidate
A
hands-on NetSuite Functional Lead who can independently understand business requirements, challenge inefficient processes, recommend the right NetSuite solutions, configure the platform, and lead stakeholders through the implementation.
This is a hands-on functional leadership role not a coordination-only position.
