Role Description The Operations Manager – TRS Ops is a full-time, on-site role based in Kakinada. This role is responsible for overseeing daily Tubular Running Services (TRS) operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and adherence to company standards and client requirements. The Operations Manager coordinates workforce scheduling, equipment allocation, and service delivery, while monitoring operational performance and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. The role involves close collaboration with field teams, maintenance, HSE, and customer representatives to resolve operational issues, manage risks, and support project planning and execution. The Operations Manager also prepares operational reports, manages budgets, supports training and development of team members, and ensures compliance with regulatory and company policies.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in oilfield or energy sector operations management, preferably in Tubular Running Services (TRS) or drilling-related activities.
- Strong skills in operational planning, resource management, and coordination of field service activities.
- Proficiency in safety management, risk assessment, and implementation of HSE standards in on-site operations.
- Ability to analyze operational data, prepare performance reports, and drive process improvements.
- Effective communication and leadership skills, with experience supervising diverse teams and collaborating with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Sound understanding of drilling rig operations, equipment used in TRS, and relevant industry regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations management, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Willingness to work on-site in Kakinada and adapt to operational schedules and field conditions.
