About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on, client-focused Operations Manager to lead our on-site asset tagging and verification operations for a major enterprise account. In this role, you will manage a team of 8–10 field associates deployed across multiple client sites, own end-to-end delivery of tagging and verification projects, and act as the primary relationship owner for client stakeholders. Beyond delivery, you will carry a clear growth mandate — building trust across the client organization and its group companies, and converting service excellence into new opportunities for AssetCues. The ideal candidate combines strong field operations discipline with the relationship instincts of a key account manager.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan, schedule, and supervise asset tagging and physical verification projects across multiple client sites, ensuring on-time, accurate, and audit-ready completion.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 8–10 site associates — deployment planning, training, attendance, discipline, and performance reviews.
• Act as the single point of contact for client stakeholders (Finance, IT, Admin, Internal Audit) — daily coordination, escalation handling, and periodic review meetings.
• Build strong relationships across the client organization and its group companies; identify, nurture, and escalate opportunities to expand AssetCues' engagement.
• Own site-level project governance — work plans, manpower allocation, site readiness, and logistics of tags, labels, and scanning hardware (barcode / RFID).
• Monitor quality and productivity — verification accuracy, exception reconciliation, and adherence to SLAs, SOPs, and client audit requirements.
• Publish MIS and dashboards — daily / weekly progress reports, exception summaries, and closure documentation with client sign-offs.
• Coordinate with internal delivery, product, and support teams to resolve data, software, or hardware issues quickly at site.
• Ensure full compliance with client site policies — safety, security, confidentiality, and access protocols.
• Track site-level efforts, expenses, and change requests; support accurate and timely invoicing with completion data.
• Capture client feedback and drive continuous improvement in processes, checklists, and team training.
Skills & Qualifications
Field & Site Operations
• Multi-site project planning, manpower deployment, and on-ground execution
• Experience managing field operations — asset verification, audits, facility services, installations, or similar site-based services
• Working knowledge of fixed assets, physical verification, and reconciliation processes
• Familiarity with barcode / RFID tagging and handheld scanning devices is a strong plus
Client Relationship & Account Growth
• Proven experience managing enterprise clients and senior stakeholders (Finance Controllers, Admin Heads, Auditors, Plant Team)
• Structured review cadence, escalation management, and expectation setting
• Ability to identify and develop expansion opportunities across group companies
• Professional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Team Leadership
• Leading and motivating distributed field teams of 8–10 members
• Hiring, onboarding, and training of site associates
• Performance management, retention, and building a disciplined site culture
Reporting & Process
• Strong MIS discipline — Excel / Google Sheets trackers and dashboards
• SOP-driven, checklist-based execution with high attention to detail
• Exposure to ERP fixed asset registers (SAP, Oracle, or similar) is a plus
What We’re Looking For
• 6+ years of experience in operations or service delivery, with at least 2–3 years managing field teams.
• Demonstrated success in managing enterprise client relationships — ideally with account growth or farming responsibility.
• High ownership and calm problem-solving under pressure at client sites.
• Willingness to travel extensively and be based at client sites as required.
• Graduate degree required; MBA (Operations) or a Commerce / Audit background is preferred.
- • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; regional language ability is an advantage.
