About the Role
We're looking for an Operations Manager to own the complete learner journey — from batch planning and enrollment through to course completion — while also managing instructor coordination, university partnerships, and a learner support team. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role for someone who genuinely cares about learner outcomes and thrives in a fast-moving, learner-first environment.
Educational background is not a filter for this role — we care about relevant experience and the right attitude: someone who solves problems proactively and consistently puts learner interests first.
What You'll Do
Class & Batch Operations
- Plan and schedule batches across programs, including instructor allocation and timelines
- Coordinate closely with instructors on scheduling, content readiness, and session delivery
- Monitor batch health (attendance, engagement, progress) and act on issues early
Learner Support & Success
- Own learner onboarding and ensure a smooth start to every batch
- Manage enrollments end-to-end, keeping the process accurate and on time
- Build genuine relationships with learners — be their trusted point of contact for queries and escalations
- Track and improve course completion rates through timely, proactive interventions
Partner & Stakeholder Management
- Manage day-to-day relationships with university/institutional partners
- Act as the key liaison between instructors, partners, and internal teams to unblock issues quickly
Team & Budget Management
- Lead and mentor a team of operations/learner support executives
- Own program budgets, balancing cost discipline with learner experience and quality
Quality & Continuous Improvement
- Bring a quality-first mindset to every touchpoint, from onboarding documents to session delivery
- Use data, learner feedback, and AI tools to continuously refine processes
What We're Looking For
- Experience in operations, program management, or learner/customer success (education or EdTech background strongly preferred, not mandatory)
- A genuine problem-solver who puts learner interests first, even when it's inconvenient
- Experience managing teams and coordinating across stakeholders (instructors, partners, internal functions)
- Working comfort with budgets and basic financial tracking
- Hands-on exposure to AI tools — this is a must-have, whether for productivity, learner support, content, or operations workflows
- A genuine learning attitude — comfortable picking up new tools and ways of working quickly
- Willingness to work weekends and flexible shifts, including early mornings and late nights, based on batch schedules
Education
No specific degree is required. We're evaluating experience, judgment, and attitude — in addition to academic pedigree.
Good to Have
- Experience in the education/upskilling industry, especially with batch- or cohort-based learning models
- Prior experience managing university or institutional partnerships
Work Schedule
This role requires flexibility, including weekend availability and early-morning/late-evening shifts, aligned with batch timings and learner needs.
