About AIRTAXIAIRTAXI is a growing aviation organization focused on flight operations, aviation training, and related aviation services. We are looking for an experienced Operations Head to lead and oversee our organization-wide operational functions and ensure efficient, safe, and compliant aviation operations.
Role OverviewThe Operations Head will be responsible for overall operational management, including planning, coordination, team leadership, process improvement, and operational performance across the organization. The ideal candidate should have strong aviation industry experience combined with excellent operational and leadership capabilities.
Key Responsibilities• Oversee and manage day-to-day operations across AIRTAXI
• Develop and implement operational strategies, processes, and SOPs
• Coordinate with Flight Operations, Maintenance, Safety, Quality, Ground Operations, and other departments
• Monitor operational performance, efficiency, and resource utilization
• Ensure compliance with applicable DGCA regulations, company policies, and aviation standards
• Lead and manage operational teams across different bases and functions
• Identify operational challenges and implement effective solutions
• Monitor manpower, aircraft, facilities, equipment, and other operational resources
• Prepare operational reports, MIS, and performance updates for senior management
• Coordinate with senior leadership to support business expansion and operational planning
• Drive continuous improvement in operational efficiency, safety, and service quality
Eligibility & Requirements✔ MBA in Operations from an IIM / equivalent premier management institution – Mandatory
✔ Strong professional experience in Aviation Operations – Preferred
✔ Proven experience in operations management and team leadership
✔ Strong understanding of aviation operational processes and regulatory requirements
✔ Excellent strategic planning, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
✔ Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
✔ Ability to manage multiple departments and operational functions simultaneously
✔ Highly organized, result-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment
