Desired Candidate Profile
- 2–5 years of experience in Pre-Primary Education, preferably in Nursery or Kindergarten.
- Strong understanding of Early Childhood Education theories and teaching practices, including Montessori principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with students, parents, and families.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Strong organizational, planning, and classroom management skills.
- A nurturing, patient, and child-centric approach to teaching.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans that support the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of nursery students.
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and learning.
- Develop and use curriculum materials, teaching aids, and learning resources to support educational objectives.
- Incorporate Montessori principles and activity-based learning wherever appropriate.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and behaviour.
- Regularly communicate with parents regarding students' development, progress, and areas requiring support.
- Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, hygienic, and safe for young learners.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and the school team to plan activities and implement effective classroom practices.
- Promote the school's core values, including respect, empathy, honesty, responsibility, and inclusivity.
- Participate in school events, celebrations, and other co-curricular activities as required.
