Role Description The NEET Expert Counselor will guide NEET UG and NEET PG aspirants through the complete counseling and admission process, ensuring they make well-informed college and course choices. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting one-to-one counseling sessions (online and offline), explaining admission procedures, cutoffs, fees, bond rules, and state-specific policies, and helping students and families understand realistic options based on ranks and predictors. The counselor will use SARTHA’s AI-based tools and verified data to prepare personalized college lists, clarify doubts through calls, messages, and webinars, and maintain accurate records of student interactions and outcomes. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Ghaziabad, with a mix of in-office work and some work-from-home flexibility, and involves close collaboration with mentors, data teams, and senior counselors to continuously improve student support.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of NEET UG and NEET PG counseling processes, admission rules, and medical college landscape across India.
- Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills to conduct clear, empathetic, and unbiased student and parent interactions.
- Ability to analyze ranks, cutoffs, fee structures, and bond terms, and translate complex information into simple, actionable guidance.
- Comfort with using digital tools, online platforms, and basic spreadsheets/CRM systems to track student data and counseling progress.
- Prior experience in academic counseling, test prep mentoring, or medical admissions guidance is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a background in medicine, science, psychology, or education is an added advantage.
- High level of integrity, patience, and student-centric mindset, with readiness to work during peak counseling periods and deadlines.
- Fluency in English and Hindi; additional regional languages are a plus.
