Role Description This full-time Mixologist role is an on-site position based at a Marriott Hotel in Navi Mumbai. The Mixologist prepares and serves a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, crafts signature cocktails, and ensures consistent drink quality in alignment with brand standards. Daily responsibilities include setting up and maintaining the bar, managing inventory, following responsible service guidelines, and adhering to hygiene and safety regulations. The role involves engaging with guests, understanding their preferences, making recommendations, and providing a welcoming, refined bar experience. The Mixologist collaborates with the restaurant and bar team, supports special events, and contributes to a smooth, efficient operation during peak service times.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong beverage preparation and mixology skills, including knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks.
- Candidates should possess customer service and communication skills to interact professionally with guests, understand needs, and provide personalized recommendations.
- Candidates should possess bar operations and organizational skills, including bar setup, inventory handling, cash or billing procedures, and coordination with the service team.
- Candidates should possess food safety, hygiene, and compliance awareness, following local regulations and Marriott standards for cleanliness and responsible alcohol service.
- Candidates should possess adaptability and teamwork skills, working effectively in a fast-paced environment, supporting colleagues, and managing peak hours calmly.
- Relevant experience as a bartender or mixologist in a hotel, restaurant, or bar environment is preferred; formal bartending or hospitality training is an advantage.
- Basic proficiency in English and local language, flexible availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays, and a professional, guest-focused attitude are required.
